Learn How to use Video conference software for free on Whereby.com?
Opinion: Touted as a way of working anywhere, Whereby.com offers freelancers and entrepreneurs to host video conference meetings with their clients or decentralized teams located around the world. I tried the free version of the app and it allows up to 4 people to concurrently participate in the video meeting. I was initially quite skeptical about the streaming quality of the app as I have used Zoom for meetings, but I had a lag-free experience on the free plan.

How does this Video Conference software ‘Whereby’ add value to you?
Having a team around the world may create chaos if you do not have an iron-clad process to keep everyone on the same page and ensure the deliverables are completed on time. The key is coordination. ‘Whereby‘ is one such tool that can help with coordination with your team.
Packed with common features such as screencasting, video conferencing, in-video chatting, etc. The app is light and designed to provide the best possible video meeting experience for the user.
Features you should know about
The Screencasting feature lets people stream their screen to show demos and to let other users see whats on their screen. You can use this feature on Whereby by tapping on the Screenshare icon inside the meeting room.
Whereby offers it under their premium offering. Available a paid add-on for the Pro version and as a part of the business plan, the recording add-on will let you record the entire meeting.
Within the meeting session, you can share notes with your team through the in-app chat feature. Whereby makes it convenient to do this by giving a quick access button in the meeting menu at the bottom of the screen.
The paid version of the app can allow you to host up to 12 participants in a session. The free version allows a maximum of 4 people to participate.
Whereby seamlessly integrates the entire meeting room with a host of services like Uploading to Youtube, Calendar integration, Trello boards, and Google docs. I suppose more integrations are on the way. 🙂
