These digital wallets allow you to store credit cards and use them at just a touch. Now, we will guide you on how to use Apple Pay.
What is Apple Pay ?
Apple Pay is a mobile and digital wallet available to Apple customer’s using Apple-watch compatible iPhones (iPhone 5 on wards) and later versions of iPad. Apple Pay stores your credit card and allows you to make payments with a few touches. Card information is never shared on Apple Pay. In fact, Apple claims that the card details are not even saved on the device. Apple Pay is protected by a password of your choice and Touch ID. Furthermore, the service creates a unique temporary security code for each transaction. The only difference between using Apple Pay on your iPhone and your Apple Watch is that the watch does not have Touch ID protection.
Apple Pay is very secure and simple to use. The Apple pay setup on your iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch can be completed within a few steps.
If you happen to lose your phone you can suspended your Apple Pay activity via the “Find My iPhone” app by putting your device into ” Lost Mode “.
Setting up Apple Pay on your iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch.
On your iPhone, open ‘ Wallet ‘ App present on the home page. Tap on the Plus (+) sign at the top right corner of the screen. Then follow the instructions to add your credit card.

Open ‘ Watch ‘ app on your iPhone > Wallet and Apple Pay > Add Credit or Debit Card
Using Apple Pay via iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch
The Near Field Communication (NFC) antenna in iPhone 6, 6S and SE allows the user to make payments without even opening your apps. You only need to hold your iPhone near a contactless reader with your finger on the Touch ID. Or you can access the wallet on your locked screen by double tapping the home button and then make the payment.
Note that, NFC hardware is not present in iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s. Therefore, the only way an iPhone 5 or 5s user can make payments on Apple Pay is via the Apple Watch.
2. Apple Watch
Double tap the side button on your Apple Watch and hold up you watch display up to the contactless reader. A tap and a beep confirm that your payment info was sent. Apple Watch is required to make payment for users with iPhone 5 and 5s.
You cannot use your iPad directly to pay in store. However, you can make in app purchases using Apple pay via your iPad.
